Resumen
Se comunica un caso de calcifilaxis sistémica en un paciente de 53 años de edad con antecedente de diabetes mellitus e insuficiencia renal crónica en tratamiento de hemodiálisis, ambos factores predisponentes de la calcifilaxis.

Abstract
This paper reports the case of a 53-year-old male patient with systemic calciphylaxis in association with other comorbidities including type 2 diabetes and chronic kidney disease treated with hemodialysis, both of which are risk factors to the development of the former.
